In less than 24 hours, more than 12,000 trees in the Olmsted Park System were damaged. The aftermath was shocking and severe, and we remember mourning the loss of our signature urban forest. The Olmsted Parks, Parkways and Circles, 1,200 acres in all, were significantly scarred.
