Buffalo isn’t BFLO without FLO. Frederick Law Olmsted, the father of Landscape Architecture, undoubtedly left an enduring mark on our region’s landscapes and public parks. In 2022, the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy is taking part in Olmsted 200, a bicentennial celebration of Olmsted’s 200th birthday.
Alongside national and international organizations such as the National Association for Olmsted Parks and World Urban Parks, we are honoring Olmsted’s legacy and his lasting influence on our communities.
As we celebrate Frederick Law Olmsted’s 200th birthday in 2022, please join us at the historic North Park Theatre for to watch these beautiful Olmsted documentaries on the big screen! FREE admission for all.
